FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO TODAY
Having started in 1981 in Gauteng, Abbeydale has grown in size and reputation to become one of South Africa’s largest privately owned national construction companies with experience across the board in industrial construction, data centres, civil engineering, retail and commercial.
We still ensure that delivery and quality remain the cornerstones of our business with the company directors being personally involved in each of our projects. Although several decades have passed our ethos and commitment have not changed.

Greg is a co-founder and director of Abbeydale Projects. Today, Greg serves as the Managing Director in an executive capacity of the Abbeydale Group; as well as on several property development companies. Outside of the construction and property sector, he serves on the boards of Environmental and NGO bodies. Greg joined Abbeydale in 1995 and was invited onto the board of director in 2004.
Zola Malinga (CA) SA

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (UCT) and Honours in Accounting (UKZN – Durban)
Zola is a co-founder and director of Abbeydale Projects. She serves as an executive director of Jade Capital Partners, an investment holding company with interests in the property and industrial sectors. She was previously a director in the Real Estate Finance Division of Standard Bank, an Investment Banker having held roles in the BEE Finance and Investments Division of Standard Bank and as a Corporate Finance Consultant at Investec Bank Limited. Zola currently serves as an independent non-executive director on the boards of Grindrod Bank, Pepkor Limited and SAPPI. She also serves as the Chairperson of the St Mary’s School Foundation.

Clinton is the Financial director of the Abbeydale Group; as well as serving as director on numerous property development companies. Outside of the Abbeydale group he serves as a trustee of the Building and construction medical aid(BCIMA). Clinton joined Abbeydale in 1996 and joined the board in 2004. Clinton currently serves as a non-executive director of Sable Holdings.

We have provided solutions to manufacturers in the pulp, glass and canning sectors over the past 40 years where we continuously push the boundaries of what is achievable in high tolerance concrete engineering. The group’s Civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities extend across our national footprint.
